Back Pain And the Emotions Behind It
Before recently, I did not ever have any back pain at all. Suddenly I
am getting spasms underneath my shoulder blade. The center of my back
is hurting terribly. Driving is terribly uncomfortable as is sitting or
even walking. For days I was sleep deprived because sleeping was
uncomfortable. My friends suggested I take Ibuprofen which I resisted
for a time because I wanted to do something naturally. So just for a
short time I took the Ibuprofen.
Then my best friend Mike gave me a book to read about decoding the
ailments my body has. What I read was very interesting. In fact, it
made so much sense to me. And after reading about the back pain,
finding out the root cause (emotions) behind it, then letting go, my
back quit hurting. Now I want to share it with others in hopes it will
help them.
What I learned about back pain from the top of the back, around the
shoulder blades and to the mid section is that some emotion related to
someone letting you down, a feeling as if someone back stabbed you,
betrayed you has recently taken place or it is something that has been
brought up from the past with the same feeling.
In order to get relief you have to forgive yourself and let go of the
issue. Admit how you are feeling and let go. One way of doing this is
speaking this affirmation: I am sorry for not being forgiving, please
forgive me, Thank You and I Love You. Say this to yourself and if you
have to, say it in the mirror looking at yourself. Then start thinking
about positive things such as what you are grateful for in your life
and what makes you happy. Focus on the positives!
When I got to the root of an issue regarding a close friend whom I felt
had let me down, I quickly let it go. I began focusing on things that I
am thankful for, that make me happy and what things I want in my life.
I remember I had taken ibuprofen but it never did work. However, the
following day I realized my back was no longer hurting or spasming. The
next day was the same and the next, etc.
Learning to let go is so important to keeping good health as well as
keeping a positive outlook on life in general. Working on yourself
everyday will pay off in the long run. Not only will it change you in
great ways, it will affect those around you who are important in your
life.
