"Wii Fit Will Get Me In Shape"
May 16, 2008 by Jennifer BryanI am so excited about the new Nintendo Wii Fit coming out in several days. Unfortunately I himhawed around and didn't do the pre-order. I really thought it was one of those things that would be really popular in the beginning for a very short time and then die out.
Right now my family owns the Nintendo Wii along with the Wii Play & Wii Sports games among many other games. I couldn't understand why people were talking about being so sore playing Wii Tennis, Wii Boxing, Bowling, etc. After fighting my kids off the Wii sending them to bed, I tried the Wii for the first time. I played Wii Tennis for I don't know how long. I finally got tired, went to bed and then the next day I woke up with a sore arm! I was so amazed at how much of a work out I did just with the Tennis game.
It was only recently I had heard about Nintendo coming out with the Wii Fit.
The more I read about the Wii Fit the more excited I get. I plan to purchase one it just may be a couple of months before I do.
It is definitely a game for the whole family especially on those rainy, stormy and wintry days. I have wanted to do Yoga for sometime yet it is so expensive. Nintendo's Wii Fit takes care of that problem by including Yoga! If you or someone you know is having problems with balance I highly recommend the Nintendo Wii Fit (remember, you do have to have the Nintendo Wii System).
If anyone is stressed I highly recommend Yoga to help relieve it. It's definitely helpful when you are not a people person.
I also learned that up to eight family members can save their information on the Wii Fit.
My daughter decided to watch a short video on our Wii about the Wii Fit. Af first I thought it was going to be about the things I had already heard of. Nope. Have you ever heard of a video game system that you can work out in the comfort of your own home without paying an arm and a leg to go workout at your local fitness place?
With the Wii Fit you also have a virtual trainer so you're not alone. Another bonus is that you can keep up with your progress! When you first begin the Wii Fit you enter your information such as height and weight in order for the Wiii to calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index). Pretty amazing, huh?
Nintendo also offers a seperate game called We Ski. Using the board you just stand on it leaning as if you were really snow skiing.
There is so much more about the Wii Fit I look forward to learning about. I hope to get the Wii Fit very soon to give my very own personal review.
